A second generation family business, Renaissance Stone has a reputation for consistent product quality, technical precision and personalized customer service. Over forty years ago Jack Butcher began his career in masonry products in Nashville Tennessee. In servicing his builders and architects he soon realized there was a great need for a local supplier of keystones in the industry. In 1998 on a whim he contacted a quarry in Indiana to purchase limestone and acquired a small wet saw and began to supply keystones to his middle Tennessee market. In less than a year the demand for his cut stone products was so overwhelming he left his position in brick sales and turned his focus toward building his start up company Renaissance Stone. By 2006 the business had grown to be one of the main suppliers for architectural stone in the region. With the increase in demand Jack had his son Todd partner with him in the business in 2007. By the beginning of 2008 Todd became the sole owner.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Todd Butcher as a business owner realized the changing needs of his customers and began to grow his business in new ways to meet those needs. Over the last eight years Renaissance Stone Company has formed relationships with quarries all over the world, as well as compiling a wide variety of new and innovative machinery, tools and technological advancements for the fabrication of natural stone and as a result we are able to consistently offer unparalleled pricing and exceptional quality of materials to our architects, general contractors and homebuilders.
